Aloha, I’m Liza Lalita Lee, G.G., the founder and designer behind Sati Gems Hawaii. I’m a Graduate Gemologist (GIA), a certified crystal energy worker, and a lifelong believer in the quiet, transformative power of nature.
My fascination with gemstones began early in life — drawn to their light, their energy, and their ancient wisdom. Years later, I pursued my passion at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), earning my Graduate Gemologist degree. My career flourished at one of the world’s most renowned jewelry houses, where I discovered that fine jewelry is more than adornment — it is art, emotion, and the embodiment of womanhood through meaningful self-expression.
What began as a personal practice of mindfulness and balance evolved into Sati Gems Hawaii — a reflection of my love for the islands and my belief that jewelry can be both beautiful and deeply meaningful. Each piece I create is handcrafted with intention, guided by intuition, and infused with aloha.
.After a decade of a successful career, I made the empowering decision to leave that path — to stay home with my sons and answer a calling that had been whispering for years. My journey led me across the world to India, a place of deep spiritual resonance and endless inspiration. There, surrounded by sacred energy and vivid color, I began collecting the healing gemstones that would become the heart of Sati Gems Hawaii.
As a Graduate Gemologist, I bring decades of technical expertise in gemstones, metals, and fine craftsmanship. As a crystal energy worker, I blend that precision with spiritual alignment — selecting each gemstone not only for its beauty, but for its resonance with the wearer’s energy and intention.
After more than 30 years in Hawai‘i, I now call Kailua, on the island of O‘ahu, my home. I share this paradise with my husband, three sons, granddaughter, and three beloved dogs. My inspiration flows from the natural world that surrounds me — the scent of tropical flowers, the rhythm of the ocean, and the strength of the mountains where I love to hike. Nature is my muse, my teacher, and my constant source of renewal
The word “Sati” comes from ancient Pali and Sanskrit, meaning mindfulness and awareness — the practice of being fully present in each moment. This principle guides every creation. Each piece begins with a breath, a prayer, and a blessing. From natural gemstones and pearls to gold-filled and sterling silver details, every design becomes a talisman — a reminder of balance, strength, and connection to both nature and self.
